FEFCO's 15th technical seminar

The 15th Technical Seminar of FEFCO's was organized at the Estrel Convention Center at the City of Berlin, Germany. The event combined a conference and trade exhibition for buyers and suppliers of corrugated packaging machinery, equipment, and services. Around 350 delegates attended the event and saw latest developments on-offer from the 58 exhibitors, whose booths were located near to the conference hall. At the opening of the seminar, FEFCO president Bob McLellan told delegates that the technical people were the real heroes of this industry. He also expressed his concerns about the recession and said that technical innovation provided the tools for survival. The conference also featured four main themes with several speakers. The first session of the event was based on the subject of Light-weight Papers on the Corrugators. The event also organized Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Best Presentation, and Energy Saving award functions.
