Robust blind adaptive beamforming for Doppler signals

Blind adaptive beamforming suffers from performance degradation in the presence of mismatch between the actual and presumed Doppler frequency of the desired signal. The performance of the algorithm by MMSE (minimum mean square error) criterion in the presence of mismatch of Doppler frequency is firstly evaluated, then, a robust scheme, in which estimated Doppler frequency on-line, is proposed to alleviate the degradation due to Doppler frequency error. Computer simulations show the validity of the proposed method.
