摘要
A series of experimental investigation were made aimed at the problems of stability which existed in emulsification of fuel oil 180#. Effect of hydrophile-lyophile balance (HLB) on the stability of the emulsified oil and effect of a single nonionic emulsifier on the viscosity of the emulsified oil were investigated. A compound emulsifier with good emulsifying efficiency was designed based on HLB paying attention to the emulsified oil viscosity. Effect of the emulsification process on the stability and viscosity of the emulsified oil was investigated by using the compound emulsifier. Optimum process conditions were also obtained, which are 0.5% of an emulsifier dosage, 500-600 r/min of stirring speed, a suitable emulsifying temperature range from 70°C to 80°C and an emulsifying time of 45 min. The results show that under the optimum process conditions, the emulsified fuel oil was prepared by using the designed compound emulsifier based on HLB paying attention to the emulsified oil viscosity, which can keep stable for three months at room temperature, and whose viscosity meets the specification of fuel oil 180#.
