Based on the introduction of the principle of the hardware-in-the-loop simulation and dSPACE system, the paper describes the design of the wider vehicle chassis integrated with controllers developing platform. On one hand, the hardware is composed of a single board system MicroAutoBox as controller and Rapidpro universal module for signal conditioning and power drive, while the actuator is made up of EPS DC motor with brushless and SAS stepper motor. On the other hand, the software employed Simulink/stateflow to build digital regulator model, and then set all I/O interface with a graphical way by the RTI module to communication with dSPACE, finally the model created will automatically generate complier of C codes to download. The vehicle testing shows that employing this method can rapidly meet the need of controlling and software codes to achieve ideal control effect, shortening the developing cycle of controller and reducing the cost of developing.
