The purpose of ASHRAE Guideline 42-2023, Enhanced Indoor Air Quality in Commercial and Institutional Buildings, is to recommend measures that exceed requirements for improving indoor air quality in commercial and institutional buildings. These measures are intended to provide enhanced indoor air quality (IAQ) that is beneficial to human occupancy and reduces adverse health effects. © 2024 American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
