摘要
Gas exploration has a great improvement in Ordos Basin in recent years. After the discovery of Jingbian Gas Field with proved reserves over 100 billion cubic meters in the Lower Paleozoic, the Yulin, Sulige and Wushenqi gas fields with the same reserves in the Upper Paleozoic of Ordos Basin were also discovered and proved up. The Zizhou gas-enriched region of the Upper Paleozoic in the east part of Ordos Basin was discovered recently. At the same time, new discoveries have also been gained in other regions of the basin. The proved gas in place reached 1.3 × 1012 m3 in Ordos Basin. This basin has become the biggest gas enriched region with proved reserves over trillion cubic meters in China. Exploration activities and multiple-discipline comprehensive researches show that Ordos Basin has the superior potential for natural gas exploration. The east part of Ordos Basin, edges of Jingbian buried platform, south and northwest parts of Ordos Basin, and coal-bed gas and biogas are the important fields for future exploration and development of gas. It is prospective for gaining another proved gas in place of (5-10) × 1011 m3 in the following decade.
