DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN AUTOMATION. Development trends in means of production in a free market economy are always the response of the machine manufacturers to users requirements. The users in turn are driven by the end consumers' expectations of new and better products. This dialogue is a significant motor of economic life - including for manufacturers of automation equipment. ©Carl Hanser Verlag.
