摘要
An analysis model of crack growth was established by means of boundary element method (BEM), which was used to simulate the crack growth behavior of a powder metallurgy (PM) superalloy, FGH95. The calculation results show that, the predicted life of crack propagation is in good agreement with the experimental data, and the model is veracious and feasible. Then the model was developed to analyze the damage tolerance characteristic of PM turbine disk containing defects, and the predicted crack propagation life was also given. It indicates that the BEM could be used to estimate the crack growth characteristic of complicated component effectively in engineering analyses, and also give a more reasonable value as compared with conventional life prediction method.
