摘要
A review of wastewater characteristics for water reuse and recycling after chemical and equipment processing is presented. The water discharged from a metal hydroxide based treatment program includes characteristics such as high dissolved solids content and excessive chloride and sulfate content. Various chemical treatments that make water source more compatible with facility water applications include cooling water applications. A most important step in reuse water treatment includes reduction of all organic contamination and elimination of all undesirable solids within the water source. Reuse water flexibility with membrane and ion exchange treatment include Water solids content adjusted to meet the application requirements and Cleaner make-up applications significantly reducing cleaner chemical volume requirements.
