Research of observer sitting based on multi-resolution grid data

摘要
The observer sitting problem is important in terrain visibility analysis and it is widely used in military, telecom, animal protection and so on. Based on problem modeling and analysis of simulation computing complexity, through the analysis of the multi-resolution terrain data's influence on observer sitting problem, combined with the simulated annealing algorithm, an optimal solution was developed based on the multi-resolution terrain grid data. Experiment results show that without loss of precision, the simulation time cost reduces by 50%-60% when compared with the one only using the traditional SA.
