Synchronous Factory Planning - Efficient factory planning by a synchronous design of processes, ressources and the factory building. Factory planning projects are characterized by a large number of partners involved and a great pressure on costs and time. An improved coordination between the architects, expert planner, and process planner is essential for an efficient planning process. Current planning approaches are missing an exact definition of interfaces between all partners involved and cannot manage the complexity of the process.
