摘要
A system for simulating the collapse behavior of the reinforced concrete framework due to seismic loading is developed. The numerical analysis is based on the distinct element method. The element type is selected to be rectangular solid, which is based on the cross section of the structural members. The elements are connected by the dummy springs. The impact action between concrete blocks after the connecting springs failed is taken into account by the impulse models of impact, which are derived from the results of the experiments and the numerical tests. A comparison between the shaking table test and analysis is presented, which shows the results of the simulation are in good agreement with the records of the shaking table test.
