摘要
Approaches for Increasing the Part Accuracy in an Automated Forming Cell. This paper describes approaches for increasing the part accuracy in robot-based incremental sheet metal forming. The approaches were developed in a cooperative project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research called Roboforming. The project concentrates on the development of an industrial applicable system design, whose scenario is also presented in this paper. A servo loop, consisting of sensors and a programming system, represents the basis of this design and shall guarantee higher part accuracies. Combining the servo loop with some other approaches like an addendum stabilization surface and the multiforming strategy increases part accuracy further on. The use of standard components allows a modular and scalable set-up, which is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses. Geometryindependent tools as well as a flexible shaping of the workpieces characterize the process.
