摘要
The low frequency oscillation (LFO) caused by the access of renewable energy sources has a significant impact on the stability of power system. This paper utilizes a static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) and power system stabilizers (PSSs) to enhance the stability of wind photovoltaic (PV) thermal-bundled (WPTB) power transmission systems, and the optimization algorithm is used to coordinate and optimize the parameters of multi-controller. The dung beetle optimization (DBO) algorithm is characterized by slow convergence speed and susceptibility to local optima when dealing with multicontroller parameter coordination optimization problems. In this paper, improvements are made to the DBO algorithm using the golden-sine algorithm (gold-SA), whale search strategy, Levy flight operator, and t-distribution mutation operator. Through comparison with current mainstream algorithms using test functions of different dimensions, the effectiveness of the Improved dung beetle optimization (IDBO) algorithm is verified. The damping ratio under LFO mode is employed as the objective function. The effectiveness of the proposed method was validated through eigenvalue analysis and time-domain simulation in both the IEEE 4-machine 2-area test system and the 16-machine 5-area test system. The engineering application of IDBO has been supplemented.
