An experimental study on the matching between fuel injection parameters and spray-bifurcation combustion chamber

In order to further improve the combustion performance of direct injection diesel engine with spray-bifurcation combustion chamber, an experimental study is conducted on the matching between injection parameters (the pressures and advanced angles of fuel injection and nozzle tip protrusions etc.) and spray-bifurcation combustion chamber. The results show that proper matching between injection parameters and spray-bifurcation combustion chamber can effectively improve the fuel economy and emission performance of diesel engine. ©, 2015, SAE-China.
