摘要
With the gradual maturity of electric power-to-hydrogen technology, hydrogen production from renewable energy sources and hydrogen transmission through pipelines are expected to support the deep decarbonization of different energy sectors. This article proposes a unit commitment model for the electric-hydrogen-integrated energy System, in which the flexible operational reserve is provided by both power generators and power to hydrogen facilities. First, the forecasting error distribution of renewable power generation is obtained using the Gaussian Mixture model. Based on this, the 95% confidence interval is obtained, and the flexible reserve demand required to accommodate intermittent renewables is determined. Second, a unit combination model for the electric-hydrogen-integrated energy System that accounts for flexible reserve is proposed. Specifically, this model includes a three-state (on, off, and standby) flexible operating model of power-to-hydrogen facilities. Numerical results validate the effectiveness of the proposed unit commitment model that considers the three-state Operation of power-to-hydrogen facilities. Additionally, the impact of renewable energy penetration level on hydrogen production and nodal power prices is analyzed. © 2024 Power System Technology Press. All rights reserved.
