According to the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stripping process with large time delay, nonlinear, difficult to control the temperature precisely and other characteristics, the stripper temperature control algorithm based on immune fuzzy nonlinear Proportional- Integral-Differential (PID) controller is proposed. First of all, the immune mechanism is analyzed and the algorithm structure is determined on the basis of the stripper temperature characteristics. Secondly, the fuzzy rules and fuzzy inference method is verified. Finally, simulation curves illustrated that immune fuzzy nonlinear PID control algorithm has the faster response, smaller overshoot and better tracking performance and other characteristics than conventional PID algorithm and fuzzy PID algorithm.
