Event-triggered controller design for nonlinear systems with input saturation

This paper is concerned with the event-triggered control problem for nonlinear systems subject to input saturation. Firstly, a hybrid system model is established for nonlinear systems with input saturation. Then, when the nonlinear function satisfies the Lipschitz condition, a local uniform asymptotical stability criterion of the closed-loop hybrid system is established and the event-triggered saturated controller is designed. In addition, when the nonlinear function satisfies the sector condition, the linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition for local uniform asymptotical stability under the framework of the closed-loop hybrid system is established, and the event-triggered saturated controller is designed. Furthermore, we analyze the semi-global robust stabilization of nonlinear systems under the event-triggered saturated controller. Finally, two examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed event-triggered control strategies. © 2022, Editorial Department of Control Theory & Applications. All right reserved.
