摘要
A power estimation method on inhomogeneous reverberations is proposed based on the statistical modeling. In our method, the inhomogeneous reverberations are distinguished and processed based on the order statistics and the amplitude classifications. And the processed amplitude data is selected to estimate the reverberation power based on the characteristic of the inhomogeneous reverberations. Furthermore, based on the power estimation of inhomogeneous reverberations, the Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) detection is realized to improve the target detection performance. Simulation results based on real reverberation data and simulated target data show that the proposed method can properly classify the inhomogeneous reverberations and estimate the reverberation power, which is useful for improving the performance of the CFAR detector in inhomogeneous reverberation. © 2021 Acta Acustica.
