In order to meet the reliable requirements for attitude reference information of shipborne weapons; an attitude information reconstruction method based on distributed inertial reference system (IRS) is proposed. Firstly; the angular deformation relationship between points in different positions is obtained based on the mode superposition theory. On this basis; the spatial prediction model of angular deformation is established. Secondly; using the attitude output of multiple IRSs; the angular deformation of the hull is calculated through data processing and used for parameters estimation of the deformation spatial prediction model. Finally; the deformation between the faulty IRS and the main inertial navigation system (MINS) is predicted by using multiple reliable angular deformation data; and then the attitude of the faulty IRS is reconstructed by compensating the MINS attitude to prediction deformation values. The verification results of real ship data demonstrate that the attitude information of any faulty IRS can be reconstructed by using the attitude output of four reliable IRSs; and the relative accuracy ratio is better than 70%. The proposed method can be used for providing emergency attitude information for the faulty IRS. © 2024 Editorial Department of Journal of Chinese Inertial Technology. All rights reserved;
