摘要
Electrochemical characterization of praseodymium nickelates infiltrated La0.5Sr0.5Fe0.9Mo0.1O3-delta (LSFM) oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide cells (RSOCs) was exhaustively studied in the present work. Sintering temperatures of 850, 950 and 1050 degrees C were applied to investigate the temperature dependence of Pr2NiO4+delta (PNO) infiltrates. Results showed that a multiphase mixture of Pr6O11 and NiO was formed at 850 degrees C, while pure Pr2NiO4+delta phase was obtained at 1050 degrees C. Polarization resistance (R-p) of LSFM oxygen electrode was obviously reduced after introducing the praseodymium nickelate catalysts. The lowest R-p of 0.05 Omega cm(2) was attained at 800 degrees C by the Pr6O11 and NiO two-phase infiltrated LSFM electrode, which was similar to 95.6% lower than that of the bare LSFM electrode. Good reversible cycling stability between fuel cell and electrolytic cell modes was also presented. The hydrogen production rate of the praseodymium nickelates infiltrated LSFM cell after calcination at 850 degrees C was 3.8 times as much as that of the LSFM cell. Overall, Pr6O11 and NiO multiphase mixture was certified as the optimal electrocatalyst for LSFM oxygen electrode among the various praseodymium nickelate infiltrates.
