摘要
This article presents a design of a small reconfigurable printed antenna with two PIN diodes. The area of the proposed small antenna is 20.32 × 15.25 mm , and meets all requirements for 5G and Wi-Fi 6 in a low-cost structure. To ensure frequency agility, we have inserted two PIN diodes (S1, S2) on its defected ground structure plane, and by acting on these switches, we can alternate between the 5G lower band frequency (3.5 GHz) and the Wi-Fi 6 frequency (5 GHz). The simulation results are very satisfactory and the proposed antenna is easy to fabricate and integrate into 5G and Wi-Fi 6 technology applications. © 2021 by Begell House, Inc.
