摘要
Based on the finite element analysis (FEA) of microcutting of hard-brittle materials, this paper gave out the rule to judge the transformation from ductile to fracture cutting mode according to the J-integral criterion. Then it calculated two typical hard-brittle material ZrO2 and Al2O3. The experiment results prove the correctness of the theory.
