Opportunities for strengthening the metallic materials by means of electrohydropulsed processing have been considered. Electrohydropulsed processing is based on application of high-voltage electric discharge in fluid. Large amount of energy is noted in small volume of the discharge channel. During processing the metal, the treated part is negative electrode and the discharge channel acts on it. Carbon (St3), tool (U8), alloy (40Kh), and other steels have been processed by this method. Mathematical model of parameters of process of treating the metals has been developed. Regularities in variation of properties of the metals have been determined.
