Study on the working process of twin-screw multiphase pump

摘要
A new mathematical model of multiphase pump working process is proposed according to the energy and mass equilibrium. On basis of this model, simulated results are analyzed with focus on the relationship of back - flow, differential pressure, power consumption and gas void fraction. In order to verify the mathematical model, performance data of a prototype multiphase pump are measured and the p - V diagram is recorded. Evidently from the comparison between the simulation result and experimental data, the model is certified to simulate successfully the working process in twin screw multiphase pump.
