摘要
The length test of mortar rod was conducted to determine the effect of ettringite crystallization inhibitors on expansion. The results show that it's effective to lower expansion with 0.1% (by mass) inhibitors incorporated in sulpho-aluminate cement, the degree of inhibition is up to 30%; and it has the effect of retarding but almost has no impact on cement mortar strength. The organic acid ions in crystallization inhibitors replace SO42- and combine with the polarity cations of ettringite to form stable complexes, hence inhibit the nucleation and growth of ettringite gels.
