A first order model based control of a hydraulic seismic isolator test rig

摘要
This paper presents the design of an adaptive control of a hydraulic seismic isolator testing machine. The system exhibits dead zone, frictions and parametric uncertainty due to both the operating conditions and the unknown features of the device to be tested. A system structure identification is described and a first order non-linear model is obtained. Adopting the first order system as nominal one, the synthesis of a model reference adaptive control is carried out. The illustrated simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
