摘要
The first industrial pneumatic separators for concentration of coals were used in 1930s. However, heavy media concentration became more popular because more qualitative coal products were manufactured. Pneumatic concentration of coal was still applied. It characterized by simple production process, Pneumatic concentration was improved. Classification of equipment for pneumatic concentration of coal was offered. Characteristics of various pneumatic plants for coal concentration have been presented. Disadvantage of the pneumatic concentration is low efficiency of separation of coals with increased moisture content. Complex processing of coals has been recommended.
