Continuous wavelet transform based singularity location of transmission line travelling waves

摘要
The main aim is to deal with location measurement of modal zero travelling wave front. Modal zero composition attenuate rigorously and the front is smooth, so it is impossible for discrete wavelet transform to be used to locate modal zero wave front. This paper discusses the application of continuous wavelet transform to locate modal zero wave front and obtains the principle of wavelet basis and scale selection based on theoretical analysis. Using the principle to locate modal zero wave front is effective from theoretical point of view. The result of EMTP further proves the principle reliable and location accurate.
