The electro-elastic interaction between a piezoelectric screw dislocation and its associated interface is investigated in this paper. The electro-elastic fields were given explicitly adopting the perturbation concept and using the method of Laurent series expansion. Furthermore, expressions of the image force acting on a piezoelectric screw dislocation were obtained. Numerical examples are provided to reveal the effect of piezoelectricity and the relative stiffness between the interface stress and the image force on the screw dislocation. Consequently, the new interaction mechanism is found.
