Quasiparticle liquid (QPL) in the highly overdoped (OD) Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ with a superconducting transition temperature (Tc) = 51 K was analysed using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). QPL has single-particle excitations around the Fermi surface that controls the transport properties. Results showed that the OD Bi2212 is a QPL in the normal state.
