Wind power pitch control model based on fuzzy algorithm and auto disturbance rejection controller

Energy is the material basis for the existence and development of the modern society. From the perspective of energy conversion, wind power systems consist of two major components. One is a wind turbine that converts wind energy into mechanical energy. The second is a double-fed asynchronous generator that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. The non-exhausting and non-polluting characteristics of wind power generation have become the research hotspots in the field of energy technology. The use of new materials and advanced technologies to develop high-power wind turbines has increased the efficiency of wind power generation and the cost has been declining. In many countries in Europe and America, wind power has already had the ability to compete with thermal power. The extended state observer was input with the speed as the input side. The system status and wind speed disturbances were observed and compensated by the feedforward link. At the same time, the nonlinear structure is configured based on the state deviation to suppress the deviation of the speed. Under the influence of random wind, the designed auto-disturbance rejection controller is digitally simulated. The results show that the variable pitch controller based on self-disturbance control theory has good dynamic performance and robustness to wind speed disturbances. For variable pitch wind turbines, the principle of wind turbine pitch control is to adjust the blade pitch angle, and the blade angle can be adjusted to achieve power output adjustment. © 2018 Editura Politechnica.
