摘要
For studying the mechanism of failure spread in power grids, and preventing or reducing the blackouts, an extended dynamic cascading failure model was proposed based on the existing cascading failure models of complex power network. Based on this model, two representative complex power grids as small-world network and scale-free network were simulated for line cascading failure. The results proved the rationality of the dynamic evolutive process of cascading failure. Moreover, according to the comparison results of these two power grids, the power lost caused by cascading failure in small-world network is much larger than that in scale-free network, and the spreading speed of cascading failure in small-world network is much faster than that in scale-free network.
