摘要
Sustainability and profitability are increasingly recognized as intertwined imperatives for the streaming industry, where environmental considerations intersect with economic viability. This article explores the challenges and opportunities for balancing sustainability with profitability in the realm of streaming platforms. Drawing upon the triple bottom line framework, this study investigates the environmental impacts of streaming, including energy consumption, e-waste management, and sustainable content production. Concurrently, it examines the economic dynamics of streaming, encompassing revenue models, cost management strategies, and market competition. Through an analysis of the interplay between sustainability and profitability, this study identifies synergies and trade-offs, highlighting strategies for integrating sustainability into daily business activities while maintaining profitability. Challenges such as regulatory constraints and consumer preferences are explored alongside opportunities presented by technological innovations and industry collaboration. Ultimately, this paper offers insights into the path forward for achieving sustainable profitability in the streaming industry, urging stakeholders to prioritize environmental stewardship alongside financial success.
