摘要：
The forensic expert activity in the Czech Republic is regulated by the law on Experts and Interpreters numbered 36 of 1967. The data on the Czech forensic experts system and activities of Czech forensic engineers are presented. The categories of failures, problems in general approaches to their definitions and criteria are discussed. A few selected illustrative cases from the expert witness practice are also shown.
