Integrative slope generation and summation circuit based on switched-capacitor

Slope compensation circuit is widely applied in peak current controlled DC/DC buck converters, which can effectively eliminate sub-harmonic oscillation. Typical slope compensation circuit realizes slope generation and summation separately, and its control circuit is complex. This paper presents an integrative slope compensation circuit based on switched-capacitor, which achieves slop generation and summation integratively and utilizes the precision and stability characteristics of switched-capacitor circuit sufficiently. The circuit eliminates sub-harmonic oscillation in current loop effectively, and has simple circuit structure, application flexibility, nice stability and process robustness. The circuit was realized based on 0.5 μm CMOS process, and results show that the proposed slope compensation circuit has correct functions and good performance.
