The effects of the composition of clinker minerals, gypsum content and environment temperature on the slurry rheological and dry shrinkage properties of alite-barium calcium sulphoaluminate cement were studied. The results show that the rheology of alite-barium calcium sulphoaluminate belongs to the Bingham fluid model. The yield stress and the viscosity of the cement paste change with the content of barium calcium sulphoaluminate, and decrease with the increase of gypsum content and hydration temperature; it has micro-expansion performance, and the dry shrinkage of alite-barium calcium sulphoaluminate cement mortars is better than that of Portland cement. By adding the admixtures, the performance of dry shrinkage can be obviously improved; the densification can be enhanced and the dry shrinkage ratio was reduced.
