Aiming at the problem of on-site real-time calibration of the starting wind velocity threshold of cup anemometer, this paper analyzes the influence factors of the starting wind velocity threshold of cup anemometer. A new method for on-site measuring the starting wind velocity threshold is put forward. Based on this method, the experiment box for the starting wind velocity threshold calibration is designed. In order to obtain the optimal structure parameters of the experiment box, the fluent software is adopted to study the influence of the power section, rectifying section and contraction section in different structures on the flow field characteristics of the experiment box. The appropriate structure is selected, and the flow field characteristics of the experiment box are determined at different fan speeds. The results show that the air flow velocity is stable and the direction is consistent in the outlet section of the designed experiment box, which meets the calibration requirement. ©, 2015, Science Press.
