摘要
This manuscript introduces a novel dual-channel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor, employing a reflective configuration comprising fused multimode fiber (MMF), dual-hole single mode fiber (DHSMF), and no-core fiber (NCF) for refractive index (RI) and temperature detection simultaneously. By exploiting distinct refractive indices outside the fibers, the sensor enables dual-channel SPR functionality: one channel is activated by a goldcovered DHSMF for RI sensing, while the other utilizes a gold and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-coated NCF for temperature monitoring. Experimental results illustrates sensitivities to refractive index and temperature are 4341 nm/RIU and -2.63 nm/degrees C, respectively. With its compact design, ease of installation, and robust stability, the sensor is well-suited for concurrent RI and temperature detection.
