Dynamic characteristic and annual performance analysis of solar assisted 330 mw coal-fired unit hybrid power generation system

Based on the TRNSYS simulation platform, the typical daily dynamic characteristics of a parabolic trough solar system aided 330 MW coal-fired power generation (SAPG) system are analyzed. The results show that with the introduction of solar energy, the main steam temperature and flow rate fluctuate slightly, the reheated steam temperature decreases and the flow rate increases. Based on this, the annual performance of the SPAG system are studied. The results show that from April to August, the increase of the SPAG system output are obviously higher than other months'. Solar energy utilization hours are highest in the summer solstice, lowest in the winter solstice, and that of the vernal equinox and autumnal equinox is between above. © 2018, Editorial Board of Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica.
