摘要
Discrete event simulation is an important method to evaluate and improve business processes. The key issue for the business process simulation is to establish simulation models. An IDEF3-based simulation modeling method and the relevant software tool, Easy IDEF3TM, are introduced. With this method, the necessary simulation information can be collected and described in a formalized way based on the communication-oriented IDEFS method. Thus, it can help the modeler create business process simulation models more easily and rapidly.
