Experimental study of characteristics of wake of wind turbine model in uniform inflow

摘要
The wake field at different streamwise positions behind wind turbine model were measured with hot wire anemometer in low speed wind tunnel. The turbulence intensity and velocity deficit decreased when it was far away from the rotor and the axial velocity in wake zone would increase. The velocity was smaller and the turbulence intensity was greater in lower region of the rotor due to tower shadow effect and the effect of tower on wake effect could not be neglected. © 2015, Science Press.
