摘要
Over the past decade, additive manufacturing has transformed the industry, leading to a range of innovative products. In this study, the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene specimen was produced using the fused deposition modeling process. To assess the effectiveness of additive manufacturing parts in final product development, it's crucial to establish the optimal drilling process parameters to minimize thrust force and torque. The investigation utilized two different drill geometries. Drilling with an end mill resulted in a 24.22% reduction in thrust force and a 12.37% decrease in torque compared to using a twist drill. Additionally, factors such as orientation, infill density, feed rate, and drill geometry have a significant impact on drilling forces.
