Erosion corrosion of wind turbine blade composite material

Blade composite materials were prepared by vacuum bag pressure molding process, then erosion wear behavior of the composite materials was investigated by an impact wear machine in gas-solid two phase flow. The results show that material mass loss also increases when impact angle increases from 15°. When the impact angle reaches 90°, the mass loss of the material reaches the maximum value of 1.2283 g/kg, a similar linear relationship between the material mass loss and impact angle takes on for the whole process. Under different wind conditions, material mass loss become serious with the increasing wind velocity, when the wind velocity reaches 17.4 m/s, the mass loss of the material reaches the maximum value of 2.7899 g/kg. The material wear mass loss presents complex change with the change of abrasive particle size. When abrasive particle size is 0.42-0.212 mm, the material mass loss reaches the maximum value of 0.8507 g/kg.
