In the present paper; the solution for peristaltic flow of a six-constant Jeffreys fluid model in an endoscope is discussed. Perturbation and numerical solutions are calculated for nonlinear differential equations. A comparative study is also performed to examine the validity of both results. The results for pressure rise frictional forces and pressure gradient are calculated using numerical integration and presented graphically to interpret the behavior of various physical quantities of the six-constant Jeffreys fluid model. © 2013 American Society of Civil Engineers;
