摘要
Some suggestions for application of energy dissipation method, which is the optimal allocation method of energy dissipation braces based on performance-demand (configuring hybrid energy dissipation braces system), are presented in this paper. The bucking restrained braces (BRBs) are used in the ground floor and the viscous damper combination energy dissipation braces are used in some other floors for building structure. For the structural analysis, a concept which is that the story damper force is proportional to the story shear and story drift and a simplified calculation method of additional damping ratio of energy dissipation braces are proposed. In addition, a strength checking method of key component of reinforced structure and construction measure of connection node are presented. The details of the method are listed in the paper, and an actual instance of post-earthquake reinforcement is cited as illustration of the method. It is relatively convenient that the energy dissipation design method based on performance-demand is used as retrofit design of post-earthquake building. By using energy dissipation braces, seismic performance of the weak stories of the structure may be greatly improved and evaluation of reinforcing effect is clearer. Hybrid energy dissipation braces system has relatively better performance-price ratio. The analysis result shows that the configuration of dampers in the structure is more reasonable by means of this method, and energy dissipation capacity of dampers can be brought into full play in low-level earthquake, middle-level intensity earthquake and high-level earthquake. By using the retrofit measure of energy dissipation braces, the reinforcement workload can be reduced and the original structure is less affected. This makes it easy to dissipate the earthquake energy as soon as the earthquake wave comes, and to cut the first major response peak.
