摘要
Dissolution characteristic of limestone in presence of sulfite has been investigated by constant pH titration. Results indicate that the dissolution of limestone in presence of sulfite is simultaneously controlled by mass transfer between the limestone particle surface and the liquid phase, as well as the surface reaction of limestone particle. The speed coefficient of surface reaction is not only dependent on limestone type, but also decreases with increasing pH value of the limestone slurry, while it increases with rising temperature, stirring speed and the partial pressure of CO2.
