Visualization of 3D temperature field in laser heating

摘要
The computational model of 3-D temperature field of laser heating is established and the color-temperature maps of spatial temperature distribution are protracted. The effects of displacement speed, power density and facular dimension on spatial configuration of temperature field distribution are investigated with Gauss laser beam, and the hardening strip is simulated to analyze the depth and the width of transformation hardening. The results show that laser heating can be analyzed directly by using color-temperature maps, and the shape of color-temperature maps is varied with power density, speed and facular dimension.
