Theoretical load solution to chain tunnel inside broken surrounding rock

摘要
To solve the problem of acting forces on surrounding rock and the global structure in chain tunnel and the ambiguity of force sensitivity analysis, a new surrounding rock classification method of chain tunnel is put forward from the point of view of surrounding rock structure, i.e., surrounding rock being divided into continuum surrounding rock, cracked surrounding rock, and broken block surrounding rock and broken sheet surrounding rock. The last three kinds of surrounding rock are called broken surrounding rock. Their related mechanical models are established and theoretical solutions to the calculation of chain tunnel load inside broken rock mass are obtained. © 2013, EJGE.
