Mayr-Melnhof (M-M), Austria is looking for parties interested in purchasing the land and equipment from its Emil Christ cartonboard mill in Thal, Switzerland. The production at the firm was haulted in September, 2001 and output was transferred to other facilities. M-M is also planning to shut-down and sell its converting plant in Germany, and transfer operations to larger facilities in the country.
